A little dated but so cute and charming. I loved the shared front porch area. We met some great people. The owner was very nice and quick to help us with all of our sometimes crazy needs. Omg and a beautiful property! There is a train track close but once you close your door, you wont hear it at all. You have to drive to the beach but I liked that because it wasnt so packed like the beach was. It was dog friendly as well., the owners 2 dogs are the sweetest and they like to roam around the property. Definitely would recommend this place and would stay here again!
First motel I ever stayed in and was surprised how clean the rooms were. Had good heat and good air-conditioning. I checked both just for the heck of it. Only inconvenience is the fact that there was no microwave in the room, but the microwave was just a short walk away in the laundry room (strange place but it works). This isn't ideal for Covid times but it's okay the rest of the year. Minus the minor inconvenience of the microwave, this is a pretty nice place, especially for a motel. Prices could come down a bit but he's booking people pretty regularly at the current price so can't blame him.
Cozy place to stay about a mile from the lake. Few upgrades needed to keep up...but they did what they could when the AC went out to keep us comfortable. If you take your dog just beaware the owners dogs run freely across property.
Low key, no riff raff partyers like camping on the beaches. I will keep returning to stay here as long as reviews keep saying it's a nice quiet family place.
